International Students Scholarships St. John’s University
St. John’s University is a United State’s private Roman Catholic research university founded by the Congregation of the Catholic Mission. The St. John’s University international students scholarships are awarded to full-time undergraduate students who enrol in a bachelor’s level degree programme. Students whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of skill in English at the higher level required by the St. John’s University. The admission application is used to automatically determine merit scholarship eligibility, no more application is required.
Course Level: The international students scholarships are available for pursuing a bachelor’s level degree programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: Scholarships are awarded based on the student’s academic ability, the program of study, and a campus of record. Scholarships range from $14,000 to full tuition fees.

Please note that the Queen, Manhattan and Staten Island campuses have different tuition rates. Scholarships are awarded based on the student’s academic ability, a program of study, and the campus of record. The Pharm D program is a highly competitive program, scholarships range from $14,000 to $24,000 with a limited number of full tuition awards.
SAT/ACT and Test Optional applicants will be considered for a full range of scholarships. Scholarship eligibility will be based on a holistic review factoring in the High School GPA, rigour of the academic coursework, letters of recommendation, essay and the student’s extracurricular activities.

Catholic High School Scholarship: Created in response to a recommendation from the Advisory Board of the University’s Institute for Catholic Schools (ICS), this scholarship provides an annual award of $2,500, for a maximum award of up to $10,000 over four years of undergraduate study and is automatically awarded to incoming freshmen who will be graduating from a Catholic high school and entering St. John’s in the fall of 2018. College Advantage Award: Students who take part in College Advantage and who enrol at St. John’s University the semester after high school graduation receive a $2,000 Tuition Grant per year. Ozanam Scholars Program: This international students scholarships program provides a select group of scholars with a unique and creative learning experience. The Ozanam Scholars Program connects small student groups with dedicated faculty to give to solving real-world problems in local, national and international communities. Ozanam Scholars receive up to a $10,000 scholarship renewable annually for the four-year program.
Catholic Scholars Program: Catholic Scholars take part in a four-year developmental program that translates faith into action. Prospective freshmen apply for this scholarship, and if chosen will receive a grant of $5,000 per year which will be awarded for four years of study. Students will commit themselves to faith-based leadership training, service and prayer, and formation of a deeper understanding of what it means to be a leader inspired by the Catholic tradition.
Catholic Student Scholarship: St. John’s has a special commitment to preparing Catholic students for ethical leadership. Our Catholic Student Scholarship offers a limited number of awards (based on availability) to college-bound Catholic students regardless of the secondary school they attend, this includes non-Catholic high school institutions. An award of $2,000 per year is for first-time incoming freshmen only.
