Influential Bloggers and Internet Marketers in Nigerian
A blogger is someone who writes a blog. A blog is an online journal that a writer can use to share his ideas, thoughts, expertise, or interests. Therefore, a blogger is someone who writes his ideas and thoughts online. Note the personal touch to that definition. Blogging is about self-expression. Influential bloggers write about their lives, their experiences, their expertise, their passions, and their opinions, and the personal touch is always present.
Being influential bloggers doesn’t mean you just write for the sake of writing. Every time you publish on your site/blog, you are definitely building something new on your foundation. Over time, as you stay consistent and dedicated to the journey, you will build up an audience and it is extremely likely that you will start making money from your blog.

This man is one of my influential bloggers in Nigeria because of creativity in creating the most popular online community in Nigeria “Nairaland” in March 2005. He studied at Obafemi Awolowo University. The site currently has over 2 million unique registered member and currently ranked 7th most visited site in Nigeria which makes Nairaland the most visited indigenous site according to Alexa.com.
Seun Osewa Success Story as an Influential Bloggers
Before the successful launching of Nairaland, Seun was frustrated and discouraged after a series of ups and downs when his business became unsustainable, he went forward to get into ICT certifications which handed him a fulltime job, but he opted out when the spirit of entrepreneur came knocking and started researching and carving out online business ideas without capital to start up the businesses.
Thereafter, he decided to start a web forum since that is the only idea that required no additional capital as he already had internet access. In November 2003, he created 3 forums: one for Higher Institution Students, second for IT discussions, and the 3rd one for MobileNigeria Forum. Then MobileNigeria became the most successful with 300 members within a few months which now brought in the birth of Nairaland.
Remarkable Achievement: Seun Osewa has at several times rejected Million Dollar offers to sell Nairaland in portions or as a whole; Nairaland can be described by many as the one stop arena to all that is happening in Nigeria and to Nigerians home and abroad. Source
